The Lady Vikings put a solid team effort together Saturday finishing 3rd in the Randolph Southern Small School Invitational. Despite being short a few athletes, the team was able to end a tiring 3 meet week on a positive note.
The top 6 in each event scored today. Athletes in the 100, 200 and 100m hurdles had to run trials to make it to the finals and the Vikings advanced athletes to the finals of each of those sprint races.
The Vikings took the blue ribbons in both hurdle events with Joslynn Witham winning the 100m hurdles(18.11) and Mallory Cross winning the 300m hurdles (55.2).
