Blue River Valley Viking JH Baseball Fall After Big Comeback By Waldron JH By GameChanger Media Despite leading by as many as four runs, Blue River Valley Viking JH Baseball fell to Waldron JH 8-5 on Tuesday at Blue River Valley Jr./Sr. High School. Blue River Valley Viking JH Baseball got on the board in the first inning after Robert Martin drew a walk, scoring one run. Blue River Valley Viking JH Baseball added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Beau Jaggers grounded out, scoring one run, and Dane McKinley singled, scoring two runs. Waldron JH flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 8-5. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by T Allen that drove in two. Cale Walker stepped on the hill first for Blue River Valley Viking JH Baseball. The righty surrendered two hits and three runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking two. K Crouch started the game for Waldron JH. The starting pitcher gave up zero hits and one run (zero earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking two. McKinley led Blue River Valley Viking JH Baseball with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Logan Best went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Blue River Valley Viking JH Baseball in hits. Allen drove the middle of the lineup, leading Waldron JH with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-4 on the day. N S led Waldron JH with two hits in four at bats. X Taylor led Waldron JH with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Blue River Valley Viking JH Baseball play at home on Monday against Shenandoah JH in their next game.
