The 2019-20 edition of the Lady Vikings made school history this past Saturday.  The Ladies won the first Regional Championship in school history.  The Lady Vikings may be called the comeback girls. In the first game of the day the Vikings trailed a very good North Vermillion team by as many as 17, but rallied late and held on to take a 45-44 win and move onto the Regional Final against a very talented Northfield team.  Northfield defeated BRV in last years Regional Final to end the Vikings season in 2019.  The Lady Vikings were looking to make amends for that loss.  Again trailing by as many as 7 and 6 at halftime, the Vikings fought back and hit some crucial free-throws at the end to take a 39-34 Championship win. Coach Bales and his staff had a great game plan and the Lady Vikings followed it to a “T”.
